Dear USA: It's called sin.
Any nation that fails to recognize its own sin will be destroyed by it.

Letter #7

Dear USA:

This letter concludes some thoughts from the last letter regarding the modern Western Empire, headed by the USA.

First, we'll start with the following, taken from Letter #6:

-------

One thing is for certain: the West's willful ignorance of the Truth won't keep destruction away from them forever. By continuing to blaspheme (disrespect, exalt themselves above, and put off) the Holy Spirit, they'll continue to remain unrepentant, and thereby continue to cut off the only source of forgiveness for their sins, thus assuring they will not receive the Mercy they refuse to ask for, but will only reap what they have sown.

"For whoever exalts himself will be humbled..." - Jesus in Luke 14:11

-------

As far as reaping what they have sown, it's not only that the unrepentant USA and its Western-nation vassals invite danger to themselves from the outside, which they do by willfully making enemies of many other nations in order to steal, kill, and destroy.

But even now, even with all their self-declared, supposed-superior-everything, the self-exalting USA and its partners-in-evil are being humbled, that is, torn down piece-by-piece, from the inside, by all the bad consequences that stem from their willful ignorance of the endless sin and immorality within their own cultures as well. (Not that non-Western countries don't have sin; but countries that declare themselves "better" without actually being better, and even being worse in many realms, are most assuredly the bigger hypocrites.)

The rot and decay caused by continual sin is like that, ruining whole societies from within, as the clock keeps ticking, and each new generation suffers increasingly from the results of increasing covetousness, adultery, blasphemy, hatred, dishonesty, and all other sins.

Oddly enough, many of the West's citizens do have at least a sense of their own nation's escalating destruction. And strangely, if they were asked, "Would the world be a better place if everyone kept God's Ten Commandments", a solid majority of them would say yes.

But if we wait for everyone else to repent, forgive others, and listen to God before we do, then how are we anything more than a hypocrite, still in our sins, always reacting to people instead of to God ?

And if we know the Commandments are good, but cannot even list all Ten of them ourselves, much less willfully keep them... again, what does that make us other than a hypocrite still in sin ?

"Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin." - James 4:17 (James was Jesus' literal half-brother !)

And this explains why the West is like it is. The vast majority of the people would rather continue in sin than take on any personal responsibility toward God, thinking they'll be fine in the Judgement as long as they were "better" (in their own eyes) than at least one other person they can point to. But such "self"-righteousness married to one's willful ignorance of their own sin is nothing but hypocrisy, based on a lack of Love for God, His Commandments, and truly, for anyone else.

And since businesses, nations, governments, and other such entities are of "the people", the West has become the sum of its own: entities and institutions of "self"-righteous willful sinners who hate God and others, who refuse to admit their own part in the destruction of their societies (and the world), and who continually try to cover up their sins with lies. Their pretense is then taken and shaped by similar, like-minded media for consumption by the masses who would rather live in a "version of reality" that matches their own hypocritical, sin-keeping "standards", instead of simply repenting, forgiving others, and obeying God... by Loving Him and others enough - FIRST - to actually keep God's Commandments, His True Standards that He gave to us for our benefit in the first place !

Consider, who Loves more: the one who repents, forgives others, and gives up willful sin regardless of what others do; or the one who says they will do these things only if everyone else does them first ?

That's why we have a world like we have, and why the West, because it claims "Christian", is a bigger hypocrite than anyone else.

So, what is the ending of all of this - of all the "self"-righteousness, willful sin, and hypocrisy among the vast majority of individuals, businesses, nations, governments, and other entities and institutions of the West, all of whom are unwilling to have Jesus Christ truly rule over them (including the vast majority of the West's so-called "religious" institutions) ?

The ending is a ruined world that results in the gathering at Armageddon right before Jesus returns to get His own, which is prophesied.

As for the rest who are not His, according to Jesus Himself, they will all be destroyed (Luke 17:26-30, and many other Verses).

And by the way, these events are well within view now, and are not even that far away.

As individuals or nations, there is no way to live in disagreement with the Love and Truth of God and Jesus and expect to be Saved.

Until Next Time, In Love and Truth,
